Thanks to everyone who came out to Cervantes for the Beginning of the World Party! We had a blast and must give special thanks and love to the Mile High Sound Movement for letting us participate with all the other immensely talented and generous musicians. Also thanks to all the other talented artisans who were there that took the experience to the next level (VJ, dancers, vendors). We are thankful for the opportunity to have participated and hope to see everyone again soon! Happy holidays. Love.

Hello World. I hope everyone is gearing up for the winter! Assuage is filling up the next few weeks with a couple of public radio spots on the airwaves in Denver and Boulder, and of course…. more live music!!!! We just confirmed an invitation to play at the Mile High Sound Movement’s Beginning of the World Party at Cervantes in Denver, and we couldn’t be more grateful to bring forth another electrifying live set for such a special night….that is if we make it to see the beginning!! Come party with us and the rest of the MHSM crew! The night will be filled with music, art, a unique collective experience, and is sure to warm you up in the dead cold of winter!

Grey (Demo)

Hi friends! It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! …or not. We are proud to present a new-ish track titled Grey. Just in time for the impending cold. Now, as the title states, this is a demo (meaning that even though we wanted to release this we didn’t have funds to properly track Chris on the drums). In lieu of this we’ve used loops and samples to get the job (somewhat) done. As you will probably hear, it works for keeping time… but it is nowhere close to the deafening radness and controlled chaos that is the living Mr. Torres. If you dig, just keep coming out to support us and passing the word on to your fellow music lovers. Once we have the means we will track some REAL drums. Please let us know how you like it, and pass the word on to any friends that may feel the same way… just tell them it’s in their best interests!
